New release: Improved appearance and functionality

The latest version of NetClean ProActive, 17.2, contains many improvements that are not immediately visible to the eye, one example being an entirely new database layer. In addition, we are also proud of the work that has gone into updating the appearance of ProActive. Our releases do not often feature a new look, however with 17.2 we are excited about presenting a brand new user interface that will improve customer experience.

New functionality for big customers

The changes to 17.2 can be divided into two areas. The first addresses what some of our larger customers have requested, and will ensure big improvements for large businesses who have many agents.

We have reworked the database layer to make it easier for our clients to handle large installations.  ProActive is now compatible with external databases, and can therefore be used on a business’ own database server, which gives the user more oversight and control of their database installations. This change is also a first step towards reducing the need to be compatible with Microsoft.

Going forward we will continue to work to make the product even more suited for complex set-ups and global installations. These changes will also ensure improvements for smaller businesses.

New look

The second area of change is a face-lift with a new user interface for our ProActive console.

This is part of our new graphic profile and our ambition to develop a more user friendly and streamlined look. Further evidence of this approach can be seen on our website and here in our re-designed newsletter.
