Stakeholders came together for #Skillnadpåriktigt 2018
#Skillnadpåriktigt is a one-day conference that brings together stakeholders from different sectors to discuss solutions to stop online child sexual abuse. Over 320 people attended the conference on 1st October in Stockholm, where talks were given by both Swedish and international speakers.
The #skillnadpåriktigt conference brings different sectors together to discuss how we can work collaboratively to tackle the problem of child sexual abuse. This year, the main focus was on how technology plays a central part in identifying and rescuing children.
Many of the presentations given, highlighted how successful collaborations across sectors and innovative technology combine to tackle the problem, and that often, collaboration is driven by effective technology.
The speakers spoke about the possibilities of using future innovate technology to tackle online child sexual abuse, but they also shed light on the work that has already been undertaken and how we have made huge strides in different areas. The speakers included professionals from law enforcement, research, NGOs, and other businesses in the private sector.
