NetClean’s detection and blocking technologies available on VMware Workspace ONE

NetClean ProActive and NetClean ProTective are now available on VMware’s Workspace ONE platform. The integration makes it easier for businesses and organisations to protect their IT environments by detecting and preventing child sexual abuse material from being accessed, consumed or downloaded on company IT equipment.

The integration of NetClean ProActive and NetClean ProTective facilitates both deployment and management of these products for customers who already use Workspace ONE to manage their IT environment on one platform. It also makes it easier for Workspace ONE users who don’t have protection against child sexual abuse material in their IT environment, to effortlessly add this to their existing IT portfolio.

“One in 500 work computers are used to download, consume or share child sexual abuse material”, said Anna Borgström, CEO at NetClean. “Making our products available on Workspace ONE, gives us great opportunities to scale and reach more companies, and considerably increase the social impact of our products.

”The integration is particularly relevant now, as the coronavirus pandemic has created a paradigm shift in how we work, with a vast number of people telecommuting and logging on to digital workspaces. Businesses have moved from managing a limited number of sites, to thousands of sites, as employees who work from home operate in their own micro IT environment.

The integration with Workspace ONE allows unified endpoint management. NetClean ProActive, an agent installed on work computers, detects known child sexual abuse files. NetClean ProTective is used to protect business mobile devices and blocks websites known to contain child sexual abuse material, and has been built to integrate with the MDM (Mobile Device Management) system in Workspace ONE.
