What’s up – Oscar Pettersson and the Advanced VMware Partnership
The fact that NetClean is a proud VMware Technology Alliance Partner is probably something that few have missed (since we like to shout it out). Recently we celebrated that we took our collaboration to the next level when we upped our partnership to advanced. Find out from Oscar Pettersson, our Strategic Alliance Lead, what the top benefits are for customers and what has been most exciting so far.
In short, why are we partnering with VMware?
VMware is a leading provider of multi-cloud services for all apps, enabling digital innovation with enterprise control. At the heart of everything they do lies the responsibility and the opportunity to build a sustainable, equitable and more secure future for all. This is the perfect fit for NetClean and our purpose-built security products.
Integrating our products adds a unique value to VMware and their ecosystem of partners, and through VMware’s Workspace Platform and Security offering we can reach new markets and scale our business.
What is this advanced level we hear you talk about?
Going from standard to advanced means that our products can be further enrolled in the VMware ecosystem, enabling more joint solutions to take to market. With regards to technology, it also drives our integration further with higher demands on interoperability. In short, stronger collaboration and more business opportunities.
What top three benefits does the partnership bring for customers?
- Integrated technology – with easy deployment, management and enhanced investigative capabilities through the integration to Carbon Black
- Enhanced compliance tools in VMware Workspace Platform
- Automated integration of continuous updates of NetClean’s unique blocklists to mobile devices
”Integrating our products adds a unique value to VMware and their ecosystem of partners, and through VMware’s Workspace Platform and Security offering we can reach new markets and scale our business.”
Working with VMware, what has been the most exciting thing so far?
It has definitely been the tremendous engagement to onboard NetClean in all parts of VMware on both a global and local basis and the fantastic interest in our solutions. In the middle of the Swedish summer holidays when I was out on the sea, I finally got the call that we have a go on working with one of VMware’s biggest distribution partners, Arrow Electronics, on a European level. So, we have a great lineup with both VMware and Arrow going forward.
