Municipality’s school computer used to handle CSAM
The case was uncovered when the software detected and reported CSAM files on one of the municipality’s school computers. Following the internal investigation, a police report was filed, and the case was handed over to the local police authorities. In a subsequent house search, the police found more than 10,000 images and over 450 videos depicting child sexual abuse.
The young man was found guilty of multiple charges of child sexual abuse and assault and was sentenced to a lengthy prison term.
